African Get Away Apartment Amsterdam

The unique and stylish1-bedroom African Get Away apartment is located in the very centre of Amsterdam just minutes’ walk from Dam Sqaure. Sleeping up to 4 guests it makes an excellent alternative to renting hotel rooms in the city for you and your guests.
The apartment has a mammoth 120 square metres of space to explore with wooden flooring and lovely high ceilings throughout. The decor has an interesting African theme as the name sugests. There’s a wonderful open plan kitchen with deep wooden veneer units, You will find all the usual kitchen equipment provided to enable you to prepare your favourite meals. The living room is spacious with a large sofa that can be converted into a double bed for two of your guests to sleep on. Meanwhile in the bedroom you will find a large double bed for two more guests. The bedroom is also equipped with excellent storage furniture for all your clothes and belongings. Outside you will find a charming balcony – ideal for entertaining or just relaxing with your fellow guests in the summer months. A flat-screen TV with international channels is also provided for your in-house entertainment. The apartment of course has its own private bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, sink and toilet.
You will find all the major visitor attractions within walking distance of the apartment. Excellent tram and bus services as well as the Metro can take you anywhere in the city quickly and Central Station itself is within walking distance.

You will find the African Get Away apartment just a few minutes’ walk from Dam Square. This is considered to be the very centre of the city. It’s a busy and exciting place day and night. Often you will find street performers, magicians and human statues littering the square. Why not enjoy a relaxing hot cup of coffee at one of the surrounding cafes and watch the world go by.
Behind Dam Square you will find the stunning Jordaan district and the world famous Canal Belt. Take a leisurely stroll amongst the beautiful 17th century narrow streets and picturesque canals and bridges. This is Amsterdam at its prettiest. Be sure to visit at night time when the bridges are lit up creating a very romantic ambience.
For a more raucous cultural experience head to the notorious Red Light District at the other side of Dam Square. The area is in fact very safe to explore at night. Be sure, of course, to take sensible precautions with your personal belongings, as would be recommended in any major city. At night time the area really comes to life and the beautiful red neon illuminates the streets magically.
If you are looking for something different to purchase as a gift for loved ones back home then why not visit the nearby floating Flower Market at the end of Rokin?
