Inside you will find a fresh creamy white decor, wooden floorboards and exposed ceiling joists adding a touch of history. The apartment has been excellently designed using the space to its optimum use. Behind a set of hinged doors lies a perfect fully fitted kitchen with everything you need to prepare your favourite meals. Alongside site a small dining table and chairs where you can enjoy mealtimes together. Relax and recharge your batteries after a long day of sightseeing on the comfortable sofa. From here you can also enjoy the flat screen TV together. It is installed with international channels. Unlike other studios we provide you with a full size double bed as well. You will find the Amstelveld Studio 7 located in the very centre of the city in the beautiful Canal Belt district just parallel with the Prinsengracht. Just a few minutes to the east lies the beautiful Amstel River and the pretty Magere Brug or Skinny bridge that features famously in the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds are Forever.
Another famous film landmark in the city is the popular coffee shop Dampkring on Handboogstraat. Perhaps thanks to its spectacularly indulgent undulating organic walls and cavernous ceiling it was chosen as the location for a scene in the recent Hollywood film ‘Ocean’s 12’. Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Scotland’s own Robbie Coltrane are seen sipping coffee, amongst other things, to the delight of many millions of film fans.
