The Captain's cutter apartment is a fully restored houseboat with authentic woodwork and copper detail. The cutter is docked in quiet waters close to the Jordaan district and is the ideal short stay rental for a couple or single wanting to experience unique accommodation on the waters of Amsterdam.
This comfortable and cosy boat is fully fitted with an open plan kitchen, living room, bedroom with double bed and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. The pilothouse is also accessible and offers a fantastic view over the water. This unique accommodation is perfect for romantic couples, boat enthusiasts or anybody who wants to experience a night on the water. The small steep stairs used to reach the boat makes it unsuitable for the elderly or people with disabilities.

Our Captain's cutter is docked close to Central Station and the Haarlemmerstraat, where you’ll find a variety of many small boutiques, bars and trendy restaurants. The popular Jordaan district is just minutes away, an area renown for its array of restaurants, cafes, bars, boutiques and speciality shops. The relaxed atmosphere throughout the Jordaan is part of the charm, however the area is also known for its lively and busy street-markets held nearby on a weekly basis, including the well-known organic food market on the Noordermarkt. Places of interest such as the Anne Frank House, Westerkerk and the Nine Streets shopping district are all exceptionally close by, as are public transport links.
