Overlooking a typical, peaceful canal, this apartment is situated opposite the tranquil Amstel River, which received worldwide notoriety after its appearance in the 1971 James Bond film, Diamonds Are Forever. This iconic natural landmark is also home to a series of beautiful bridges, including the most famous and striking of all, the Magere or Skinny Bridge.


    As the name suggests, this Amsterdam accommodation is within a five minute walk of the Royal Carre Theatre, the most prestigious theatre in the city and a much sought after stage for many a young performer. This stunning building showcases an eclectic blend of premium talent, from the National Ballet to global singing sensations. 300 metres further north of the river lies the increasingly popular Amsterdam Hermitage Museum, a former 17th century retirement home that converted into a dependency of the legendary Hermitage Museum of Saint Petersburg as recent as 2009. Opened by the Dutch Queen and the President of Russia, this colossal exhibition area displays an impressive collection and is actually the second largest museum in Amsterdam after the immense Rijksmuseum.
