Our China Town apartment is a marvelous three bedroom residence located in a wonderful part of Amsterdam. It is spacious and tastefully decorated and is the perfect short stay accommodation for small groups and families who want to visit Amsterdam.
The residence has two floors and is located in a typical historical Amsterdam building. After climbing the original steep stairs you will enter the large and elegant living room. Yes, this apartment is something different. The beautiful wooden floors and Mediterranean styled tiles give this place character. Different angles of light and subtle elevations in the large room make this apartment unique. Allow yourself to sit and relax, enjoy your newspaper or watch TV on the luxurious sofa or on the large chairs. Visit one of the many oriental supermarkets and buy Asian ingredients to prepare a wonderful meal in the apartment's kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with the things you will need to help you cooking. There are three bedrooms in this residence. The large master bedroom has a double bed and a walk in closet and the two other bedrooms both have single beds. And finally there is a bathroom which is equipped with a shower and a bathtub.

The name of the apartment tells you where you are located. Amsterdam’s China Town is originated in 1911 and has after London the oldest China Town in Europe. Take a tour and visit Chinese shops or the largest Chinese temple in oriental style in Europe and enjoy a meal in one of the many typical restaurants to end your tour. China Town is located next to another interesting area of Amsterdam, the famous Red Light district. Visit this place preferably by night and taste the unique atmosphere. At the corner of your street, you’ll find the New Market, an interesting historical place and a place to shop different items and souvenirs. The building in the middle was once a defense tower of the old city wall, but since of the continuous expansion of the city this building became obsolete and was turned into a ‘Waag’ meaning weighing house. This area was also the heart of the Jewish community until World War Two and you can learn more about their history in the Jewish Historical Museum. Take a walk or tram to other interesting museums like the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, both famous for their excusive collections of genuine Dutch painters.
