Measuring 100 square metres and spanning two floors you and your guests will not be short of space here. On the lower floor you will find a stunning living area fitted with comfortable contemporary furniture and a flat-screen TV with access to international channels. A clean white open kitchen provides everything you need to cook your favourite meals whilst it is possible to serve them at the stylish attached dining table. This is perfect for socialising with your guests whilst also preparing food. The City Centre Escape apartment is situated in the New Market district of the city. This is very central, only a few minutes walk form Central Station and one of the oldest parts of the city of Amsterdam. On the Market square you will find different markets held daily selling anything from local farmers’ produce to antiques, vintage clothing or books.
Across from the square you will find Lokaal 't Loosje, a charming old café where you can enjoy a frothy Amsterdam coffee inside or outside whilst watching the world go by. Be sure to try the traditional Dutch light meal known locally as an ‘uitsmijte’ or ‘oven-dish’. It is a plate of cooked egg, tomato, ham and lots of cheese served with fresh bread and butter. It makes a delicious continental alternative to a traditional English breakfast.Dam square and the Red Light District are extremely close by and are great places to explore both day and night. At night time the canals are lit up atmospherically with the reflection of red neon lights from the buildings and rows of white lights that decorate the small bridges.
