  • As the name suggests, this Amsterdam accommodation is delightfully located close to the city’s chief park, the Vondelpark. A mere 500 metres from your holiday home lies 120 acres of green space, residing in the centre of the city. Originally opened in 1865, this tranquil setting welcomes around ten million visitors every year, and is a haven for picnickers, sun seekers and dog walkers. This extensive area is perfect for exploring by bicycle, with rental stations dispersed throughout the city. The Vondelpark is also home to children’s playgrounds, an open air theatre, and a selection of cosy cafes, including the charming Blue Teahouse. This 1930s circular building serves drinks and food in a relaxed environment, with a large outdoor terrace receiving swarms of guests during the warm summer months.


    This Amsterdam studio is also conveniently situated next to the elongated avenue entitled Overtoom, lined with an impressive selection of eateries, supermarkets, alternative stores and bustling bars. One particularly distinctive restaurant is Fondue and Fondue, where you have the choice of three delicious fondue options; fish, meat or cheese. Fans of nightlife will be pleased to know that the legendary Leidseplein is just a short walk from the studio, a vibrant square that is considered the focal point for evening entertainment in the capital. This lively plaza also marks the entrance to Amsterdam’s stunning canal belt, with the inner city reachable by foot in less than twenty minutes.

    Great Apartment, very safe - Good area. A little walk into the main part of the city but if your not up for walking the tram is right out the front of the apartment building. loved it!
