The Dapper Market Apartment 6 can be found on the edge of the leafy Plantage district just east of the city centre. This very cosmopolitan area is known as the Dapperbuurt. A quiet neighbourhood, it is famous for its market which of course the apartment is named after. The Dappermarkt has been voted by leading travel publications as one of the ‘top ten shopping streets in the world’. Here you can purchase an extensive range of ingredients for cooking, clothing as well as all kinds of interesting international goods.
The beautiful Oosterpark lies just a few minutes walk away from the apartment, meanwhile in the other direction the famous Artis Zoo and the Hortus Botanicus (Botanical Gardens) can be found just 5 and 8 minutes’ walk away respectively.
A walk into the city centre takes just 10 to 12 minutes, alternatively you can hop on one of the many trams that pass the end of the apartment’s street.
