  • The De Pijp District Apartment 6 lies as the name suggests, in the Pijp district just south of the city centre close to the beautiful River Amstel. This is an extremely popular and cosmopolitan area filled with interesting shops, eateries and the wonderful Albert Cuypstraat market.

    Just across the road is the lovely Sarphatipark which is much quieter than the mammoth Vondelpark to the east. It is also very popular with local Amsterdammers.

    Getting around town could not be easier as there is a tram stop on the street that runs parallel to that of the apartment. Trams travel regularly into the city centre, Dam Square and Central Station in minutes.

    You may prefer to opt to 'go native' and hire bicycles to get around the city. This extremely cheapo and healthy alternative will allow you to see the city form a whole new perspective. Why not follow the Amstel out of town and explore the beautiful countryside just 15 minutes cycling time away?
