    Step inside and be wowed by the warm creative energy and the absolute emphasis on comfort here. Relax on the long sofa and the ultra modern white circular chair and matching coffee table. The sofa also rolls out into a double bed for two of your guests in the evenings. You can enjoy the flat screen TV also provided here for your entertainment. You will find a sleek long smoked glass dining table with 6 chairs for you to enjoy meal times together. Prepare all your favorite recipes in the excellent open plan and fully fitted kitchen. You will find all the equipment you need here. The two bedrooms are beautifully presented with a cool sophisticated unfussy décor to encourage a good night’s sleep. One room has a double bed whilst the second has two singles. Each room has good storage for your clothes and belongings as well as calming mood lighting. There are two private bathrooms in the property each immaculately presented with mosaic tiles in colours in sync with the rest of the apartment. You will find a combination of two toilets, a bath and a shower.

  • You will find the Eastern Park Apartment Suite 1 towards the east of the city centre at the corner of the beautiful 19th century Oosterpark on the border of the leafy Plantage and the charming Dapperbuurt districts. The Dapperbuurt neighbourhood is the Amsterdam’s equivalent of New York’s Greenwich Village with its rich architecture, and energetic multi-cultural identity. The great jewel of the district is the amazing Dappermarkt just a few minutes away on foot. This city market was once voted by National Geographic Traveller magazine as one of the world’s “top ten shopping streets”. The market has over 200 stalls selling all number of crafts, clothing and international food. You will be amazed by the variety of products on offer and it certainly makes a great afternoon excursion.

     

    You will find the Tropenmuseum and Oosterpark close by as well as the fantastic Artis Zoo and aquarium which lie just 4 minutes’ walk away from the apartment. Artis is one of the oldest zoos in Europe with one of the most successful animal breeding programmes in the world. You will, find all the popular animals here including giraffes, tigers and monkeys. There is even a small petting area for children and adults to interact with the more native animals to the Netherlands such as goats and chickens. Don’t miss the incredible original 19th century aquarium which lies at the far end of the zoo grounds, closest to your apartment. This incredibly impressive building has an amazing marble lined main hall showcasing giant tanks full of all kinds of underwater creatures.
