The sumptuously decorated 1-bedroom Eastern Suite Apartment 5 sleeps up to 4 guests comfortably and is ideal for a small family or group of friends seeking an exceptionally central location in Amsterdam.
Inside you will find wooden floorboards, contemporary furnishings and a warm and inviting chocolate and cream décor. There’s a lovely large sofa for you to relax together and enjoy the flat screen TV provided. The sofa converts easily into a double bed for two of your guests. There is a curtain that pulls across to give them a little more privacy. Alongside sits the open kitchen area which is fitted with all the essential items you need for preparing your own meals during your stay. It has unusual mauve mood lighting to get you in the mood for cooking! The elegant dining table is perfect for mealtimes or using a lap top computer. The private bedroom is fitted with attractive storage furniture, matching décor and of course a comfortable double bed. The apartment has, naturally, a very stylishly designed bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower.

You can find the Eastern Suite Apartment 5 located to the east of the centre of Amsterdam in a quiet neighbourhood known as Dapperbuurt. This popular cosmopolitan district is most famous for its wonderful market. The Dappermarkt was once voted by National Geographic Traveller magazine as one of the world’s “top ten shopping streets”. The market boasts over 200 stalls selling all number of crafts, clothing and international food. This is a great place to pick up some unusual ingredients for your meals back at the apartment. You are sure to be amazed by the variety of products on offer and it certainly makes a great afternoon excursion. The Dapperbuurt is also the birthplace one of the most famous and popular Dutch artists, Karel Appel.
Head into the city centre on foot taking around 10 to12 minutes. On the way you will pass Artis Zoo. The back entrance to the zoo is actually only 6 minutes’ walk from your apartment. Here you will also see the exterior of the amazing 19th century purpose built aquarium. This incredible building presents all kinds of underwater creatures. Most interesting is perhaps the mock Amsterdam canal which has some surprisingly big fish swimming around as well as some rusty bicycles.
