You will find an incredibly funky 1960s inspired matching circular armchair and coffee table which actually light up! The apartment has wooden floorboards running throughout and large windows allowing lots of natural light. There’s a lovely large sofa that converts easily into a double bed for two of your guests. There is also a curtain that can be pulled across to provide more privacy. A flat screen TV is provided in the living area for your entertainment. The apartment has an open kitchen area which is fitted with all the essential items for preparing your own meals during your stay. It has stunning green mood lighting behind the units. The elegant dining table is perfect for mealtimes or using a lap top computer. The private bedroom is fitted with attractive storage furniture, matching décor and of course a comfortable double bed. The apartment has a matching stylishly designed bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower.

  • The Eastern Suite Apartment 7 lies to the east of the city just 9 minutes’ walk from the entrance of Artis Zoo. The quiet neighbourhood is known as Dappermarkt and it is home to a famous market known as the Dappermarkt. This wonderful market was recently ranked in the ‘top ten markets in the world’ by the National Geographic Traveller Magazine. Here you can buy everything form unusual cooking ingredients to handicrafts and clothing.

    A walk in to the old city centre takes around 10 minutes. On the way you will pass the wonderful Artis Zoo which is extremely popular with both adults and children. You will see all the usual favourites here including giraffes, tigers and monkeys. The zoo is famous for its particularly successful animal breeding programme. There is even a small petting zoo where you can interact with more native animals to Holland including the chickens, sheep and goats. Don’t miss the wonderful aquarium which houses some huge tanks of unusual underwater creatures. The building was originally built for purpose in the 19th century and the main marble-lined hall of aquariums is something amazing to see.

    As you enter the oldest part of the city you will come to Waterlooplein Flea Market, the most famous market in the city.  Here you will find just about anything on sale that you could ever imagine. Try to haggle for a bargain if you dare and look for something weird and wonderful as a souvenir of your trip to Amsterdam.

    Modern design, nice place, good bar in the corner, mainly suitable for young people or for 2 persons, but it was ok, and the surprise wine was also a pleasant gesture.

    I enjoyed a pleasant stay at this apartment in a nice location near Oosterpark. I would recommend it to anyone who is going to Amsterdam for a short break.
