You will find the Easy Living apartment along the beautiful Keizersgracht, one of the four major canals that loop the old city centre known as the Canal Belt. This is surely the prettiest district in the city with its tree-lined water-way and charming houseboats floating at the water’s edge.
The apartment is on the corner of Utrechtstraat where you can catch any number of trams into the city centre taking only minutes to reach Central Station.
Wander two minutes immediately east from your front door and you will see that the canal joins the majestic Amstel River. A few minutes’ walk south is the famous Skinny Bridge that features in the classic 1971 James Bond film Diamonds are Forever.
Be sure to explore the little streets the link each of the major canals. They are rather unimaginatively known as the Nine Streets.
