  • You can find the Flower Market Apartment I located in the very centre of Amsterdam, a short walk from Dam Square. The apartment building looks out on the world famous Floating Flower Market which is busy daily with visitors to the city admiring the many unusual plants, seeds and bulbs on sale here. Why not arrange for one of the stalls to send authentic Dutch tulip bulbs overseas to your loved ones back home as a gift from your holiday?

    The apartment lies on a side street between the street of the market and a popular café, bar and nightclub area on the other side known as the Reguliersdwarstraat. You will find a wealth of shops and interesting boutiques if you follow the Single Canal west (or clockwise) towards the Leidsestraat. It continues out of the city leading to the Leidseplein, a popular entertainment area where you can enjoy a meal outside or see a show, a film or a gig in the many venues that litter the plaza. The Dutch/ American comedy store Boom Chicago is highly recommended. You can enjoy a meal and watch a performance here. Try not to choke on your chips laughing too much though.

    Getting to and from central Station could not be any easier. Simply jump aboard any of the many trams that travel along Rokin, a few seconds away from the apartment. The journey takes around 6 minutes, depending on traffic. You can of course choose to walk as it really is very close by.
