Named after a Dutch East Indian Company exploration ship called “Halve Maen” that was mainly active in the 17th century, this beautiful 2-bedroom apartment in the centre of Amsterdam is your perfect home away from home.
With 4 single beds that can prepared into two double beds if you like, the 2 bedrooms have amazing ceiling lamps that provide for plenty of light during the night. The living room is equipped with a large plasma screen television, CD player and a cosy couch which is perfect for relaxation. In the kitchen you will find all the cooking tools you need in order to prepare your own favorite dishes, as well as amenities such as a dish washer, oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee machine and a kettle. A washing machine and dryer are also available, as well as all the necessary ironing equipment.
Another worthwhile accessory of the smoking friendly Half Moon Apartment is its balcony that gives you an amazing view over the city. Next to a 24 hour reception service, this apartment also has elevator access, fans to keep you cool, and wireless internet to keep you connected.
Fresh towels and linen are supplied for all guests.Please note that this apartment requires an additional cleaning fee of 45 euros.

The Half Moon apartment is located in one of the best neighborhoods of Amsterdam, at just a stone’s throw away from well-known sites such as Hortus Botanicus, Joods Historisch Museum, Hollandsche Schouwburg and the Artis Zoo. Waterloo square is also around the corner, as well as the famous Rembrandt Square and Nieuwmarkt, which are excellent places to go out for dinner or grab a refreshing beer.
If you like to see some green then we advise you to have a stroll through the Wertheimpark at just a few minutes walking away. Two other interesting sites nearby, slightly North to the apartment, are the Nederlands Scheepvaartmuseum and Nemo Science Centre, which you cannot miss due to its distinguished look.
For those that want to enjoy the Amsterdam nightlife, make sure you pay a visit to the famous Red Light District, which is only 10 minutes away by foot.
