The Herengracht I apartment is a bright and contemporary apartment in the heart of the historical centre of Amsterdam, accommodating up to 6 persons. With view on the famous Herengracht and located around the corner of Dam Square this apartment is an excellent hideout if you are on holiday in the Dutch capital.
This recently decorated apartment that is located close to all the major sites and squares such as Dam Square, Spui, Rembrandt Square and Leidse Square consists of 2 modern bedrooms that are equipped with 4 single beds, tables and lamps. The bathroom includes a bath tub with shower and a glass door, and obviously fresh towels for everyone. You will also find a fully equipped kitchen with features such as an oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, refrigerator, coffee maker and of course all the cooking tools that you need to prepare your favorite dishes. The stylish living room area not only offers a flatscreen TV but also two comfortable couches that can be transformed into two single sleeping sofas at night. Fresh linens and blankets are provided for everyone.
This smoking friendly apartment also offers free WiFi internet, fans, a washing machine and a dryer.

Located in the heart of the city centre within the Canal Belt (the 4 major canals Singel, Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht), the apartment is basically close to all major sites that Amsterdam has to offer. Dam Square with its famous Royal Palace, as well as Madame Tussauds, is within a few minutes walk. Other squares such as Rembrandt Square, Spui and Leidse Square are all within walking distance.
If you walk just a few minutes to the east of the apartment, just outside of the Jordaan area in which the apartment is settled, you will come accross several large shopping streets such as the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, Spuistraat and the Kalverstraat that stretch all the way from Muntplein past Dam Square towards Central Station. Where the Jordaan area is known for its small boutiques the area around Dam Square is known for its larger shopping chains such as the V&D, Bijenkorf and many more.
