Boasting an enviable location in the heart of Amsterdam’s famous Jordaan district, the contemporary Laurus 2 Apartment sleeps up to six guests in complete style and luxury.
This two bedroom residence is located in a quintessential Dutch street, ideally suited to both business and leisure travellers due to its centrality. The living area is open and spacious, contrasting fresh white walls and handsome wooden floors with splashes of colour. Two modern sofas and a TV with international channels are readily available, providing a relaxing entertainment area for convening and socialising with your party. One of the sofas can be converted into a snug sleeping spot for two should you wish to accommodate six.
At the opposite end of the room you will find an elegant dining table and a fully fitted kitchen, featuring attractive tiling. The kitchen offers a complete set of high quality amenities for impressing your guests with your culinary skills. Residing on the upper level, both bedrooms employ charismatic decor and enjoy a soothing, peaceful ambience. There are two double beds in total and ample storage space for your personal items. The chic and charming bathroom contains a toilet, shower and bathtub.

This Amsterdam accommodation affords a privileged position in the historical core of the desirable Jordaan district, enclosed by stunning 17th century architecture and picturesque canals. Amenities are also in abundance in this area, offering you a prime selection of traditional Dutch cafes, trendy bars and elegant boutiques. There are a wealth of restaurants to choose from too, with a fine variety of eclectic cuisines, especially on the nearby Elandsgracht, which houses Thai, Spanish, Italian and many more delectable styles.
A few minutes on foot will take you past the impressive Western Church and the accompanying poignant Homomonument, to the legendary Anne Frank House. Receiving over one million visitors a year, this moving museum is dedicated to wartime diarist Anne Frank, who hid from Nazi persecution during World War II. The museum is incredibly popular with tourists and elongated queues regularly occur outside the doors. Many guests appear to be unaware that the house is open until 9pm for most of the year, therefore a late afternoon, early evening visit is definitely recommended for avoiding the crowds. I would definitely reccomend it to anybody in groups, it was thounsands much more pleasant and convinient than staying in a hotel and with a couple of people the price/service ratio is really good, as you can fill your fridge with shopping from supermarket around the corner and don't need to pay for each juice and tea from mini bar or restaurant.
