The beautiful and bright 2-bedroom Leidsesquare VIP II holiday apartment sleeps up to 6 guests in the centre of the most vibrant plaza in Amsterdam.
This delightful property looks out over the Leidseplein entertainment area via a stunning arched window. The décor is creamy white with light wooden floorboards and attractive contemporary furniture throughout. Relax with your fellow guests on the big comfy sofa and enjoy the flat screen TV also provided for your entertainment. It also converts into a double bed for two of your guests easily each night. To the rear of the room is an excellent open plan and fully fitted kitchen where you can prepare all your favourite foods. To the side is a dining room with a table and 6 chairs to make eating meals more comfortable and of course more sociable. The two bedrooms are fitted with comfortable beds – one four-poster double and two singles. You will find attractive storage furniture as well as bed-side tables and lighting for reading. The apartment also has a large bathroom fitted with a sink, bath, shower and toilet.

The Leidsesquare VIP II apartment is located in the centre of the most vibrant entertainment area of the city, the Leidseplein. You only have to step out of your front door to find cinemas, theatres as well as the world famous music and dance venue the Melkweg, also known as the Milky Way. Of course there are lots of bars and restaurants too in the square so you will not be short of places to drink and eat if you choose not to cook in the apartment. Be sure to pay a visit to the extremely funny American/Dutch comedy review bar Boom Chicago which is located at the corner of the square directly opposite the apartment.
Please note that the Leidse Square can be quite noisy day and night time, particularly in the summer months. For this reason the apartment may not be wholly suited to visitors who are light sleepers or those travelling with very young children.
If you want to break away to somewhere quieter then you don’t have to travel far. Wander a few minutes towards the centre and you will come to the stunning Prinsengracht, one of 4 huge canals that loop the city centre. This area known as the Canal Belt is one of the prettiest districts in the city. It’s very enjoyable to follow the canals round and explore the little shops, boutiques and laid-back cafes that litter the small linking streets that are known as the Nine Streets.
Follow the Prinsengracht clockwise north and you will come to Holland’s most famous museum, the Anne Frank House Museum. Here you can actually step inside the tiny annexe where Anne, her family and friends lived in secrecy, hiding from the Nazis during the occupation in the Second World War.
