The Live Like a Local apartment is a charming and colourful 1-bedroom holiday rental in a very quiet neighbourhood close to the Vondelpark and other major attractions in the city. Measuring 70 square metres and sleeping up to 4 guests it makes an ideal alternative to renting hotel rooms for you and your guests.
You will find large windows, beautiful artworks and a king-size double bed in the bedroom. You have the choice of an extra double bed or two individual inflatable beds to be added here for your remaining two guests. Meanwhile the art continues into the rest of the apartment where you will find a comfortable living area where you can relax and watch the provided TV and DVD player or listen to some music on the stereo.
A modern open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make your favourite meals for you and your guests. There is a dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, electric stove and microwave as well as a washing machine for your clothes. You will find a super market located handily just three minutes’ walk away from the apartment. Fresh towels and bed linen are provided for the duration of your stay and Wi-Fi internet is accessible throughout the apartment.
The owner of this attractive apartment is happy to provide several invaluable free services to you and your guests to make your holiday more comfortable. These include collecting you from the airport, provision of a Dutch telephone, a private evening tour of the area and lots of helpful advice about finding your way around the city. A welcoming breakfast is also available for an extra fee of 7.50 Euros per person.

The Live Like a Local apartment is situated very close to the southern tip of the Vondelpark. Attracting over 10 million visitors every year, this mile-long green oasis is almost every one’s favourite place to relax in the city. Enjoy an Amsterdam frothy coffee in the delightful Blue Tea House at the centre of the park. Alternatively why not find a bench and close your eyes for a few moments and listen to the squawks of the wild parrots overhead?
Nearby you will find the exciting Leidseplein, perhaps the most vibrant entertainment area in Amsterdam. Day or night you are sure to find something interesting to see. Packed with café’s and shops the whole area is buzzing with life.
If you love clothes shopping then there is no street more luxurious than the PC Hooftstraat. Here you find all major famous brands including Chanel, Hermes and Louis Vuitton, to name but a few.
Jump on the tram for four stops along the road and you will find the popular Van Gogh Museum. The museum contains the world’s largest collection of paintings by Vincent Van Gogh including many of his famous self-portraits. Also located in Museum Square is the majestic Rijksmuseum. Recently re-opened, it is bursting with beautiful artifacts of national and international importance including Rembrandt’s infamous ‘Night Watch’.
