  • In the beautiful Plantage district of Amsterdam, this stylish and modern 2-person Lotus South studio apartment is designed for you to get the most out of your stay in Amsterdam and provides a charming and practical alternative to staying in a hotel for either leisure or business travellers to the city. 

     

    The newly fitted kitchen means you have everything you need to prepare your own meals including 4 hot-plates, kettle and coffee machine plus a microwave oven and a fridge for storage. Across from the kitchen is the living area with a flat screen TV including international channels and a DVD player for your in-house entertainment. This area is well designed to include your sleeping area with a comfortable double bed provided. There is also a dining table for two persons suitable for meals. Located on the ground floor the apartment boasts a large window overlooking a quiet but central Amsterdam street at the front of an apartment building. The bathroom is equipped with toilet, sink and a shower unit with two shower heads. All bed linen and towels are provided for you during your stay. The bath linen we use is made of Fair-trade cotton. Fair-trade cotton is produced in a sustainable and ethical way without using any insecticides in developing countries. We believe that by paying an honest price to local farmers their working and living environment is gradually improved step by step.

  • Situated in the leafy Plantage district of Amsterdam, the Lotus South Apartment is accessible easily by tram and bus but also only a 15 – 20 minute walk from Central Station.  Close by you will find the  Waterlooplein Market where you can purchase just about anything from the latest fashions to books and unusual Dutch antiques. Nearby you can see exotic plants in the hot-houses at the Botanical Gardens or visit the amazing Artis Zoo – one of the oldest zoos in Europe with one of the most successful animal breeding programmes in the world. The excellent public transport links to and from Central Station make this an excellent location for business travelers and couples on holidays.
