    Inside you will find a fresh creamy white decor, wooden floorboards and large windows allowing lots of natural light. The apartment has been excellently designed using the space to its optimum use. You will find a perfect fully fitted kitchen with everything you need to prepare your favourite meals. Alongside sits a large stylish dining table and chairs where you can enjoy mealtimes together which is certainly more comfortable and sociable. Relax and recharge your batteries after a long day of sightseeing on the comfy sofa. From here you can also enjoy the flat screen TV together. It is installed with international channels. The bedrooms are simply decorated in calming colours to encourage good restful sleep. One room has a double bed whilst the other a pair of singles. The apartment has a private bathroom fitted with a combined bath and shower as well as a sink and toilet.

    This outstanding apartment makes an excellent alternative to renting stuffy hotel rooms in the city and is an ideal base for all your adventures in Amsterdam.

  • The outstanding Magnolia I Apartment is located in the charming leafy Plantage district barely two minutes’ walk form the entrance to Artis, the city’s wonderful zoo and aquarium. You will find all the usual animal favourites here including tigers, giraffes and a huge monkey house. One of the oldest zoos in Europe, Artis has with one of the most successful animal breeding programmes in the world and is recognized for creating more realistic and comfortable habitats for its animal inhabitants. Children will enjoy the small petting area where you are encouraged to interact with the more native animals to Holland such as goats and chickens. Perhaps most enchanting is the butterfly house where you can see thousands of pretty butterflies flying around and sometimes landing on you. You can even feed them with a piece of fruit on the palm of your hand. Don’t miss the incredible original 19th century aquarium which lies at the far end of the zoo grounds, closest to your apartment. This incredibly impressive building has an amazing marble lined main hall showcasing giant tanks full of all kinds of underwater creatures.

    Getting in and out of the old historic centre takes around 11 minutes on foot. Alternatively you can catch any of the many trams that go from Plantage Middenlaan, a few minutes away to the rear of the apartment. The journey takes around 7 minutes to reach Central Station depending on traffic which is good to know if you are travelling to or from the apartment with heavy luggage.
