On the first floor you will find an attractive dining area for enjoying home cooked meals. It’s just across from the modern fitted kitchen that is equipped with a fridge, hob, oven and dishwasher for your convenience. In the living area are a flat screen TV and a huge stylish sofa that converts easily into a double bed for two guests. Upstairs in the attic is a double bed to sleep two more guests. The windows bring you beautiful views of the historic Waag building in the town square opposite. Beautifully illuminated at night, you cannot imagine a more romantic scene.
Fresh towels and bed linen are provided for you and your guests for the duration of your stay and Wi-Fi internet is also available throughout the apartment. Because of the steep stairs inside this apartment may not be suitable for elderly guests and very young children. Situated in the charming Nieuwmarkt area, one of the oldest parts of the old town, you will be able to enjoy the produce on sale each day in the market square. From famers’ produce to antiques, books and jewellery, each day you will find something different.
Come out of your front door and follow the canal down to your right and you will reach the beautiful River Amstel and the popular Rembrandt Square.
As the name of the apartment suggests, you will be staying in China Town, one of the most vibrant areas of the city. Why not take a wander up the Zeedijk (Sea Dyke) which winds its way back up towards Central Station. Here you can find all kinds of interesting Chinese food shops and gift boutiques. Look out for the marvellous and unexpected giant Chinese Temple that nestles amongst the 16th century Dutch townhouses. It’s a surprising find!
