  • As the name suggests, the charming 1-bedroom Prinsengracht Canal apartment is situated on one of the oldest canals in the ancient historic centre of Amsterdam. This is a prime central location making it a perfect base for all your adventures in the city.

     

    The apartment is on the first floor of a beautiful canal-side house overlooking delightful house boats and trees. With fresh white stylish décor and wooden floors throughout, the apartment greets you with a lovely warm feeling. In the living area you will find soft comfortable furniture including a sofa that converts easily into a double bed. Relax and enjoy the flat-screen TV, DVD player and stereo provided. Large windows allow lots of light to flood into the apartment. We also provide you with an excellent fully fitted kitchen with all the necessary equipment needed for preparing your own meals including an oven, microwave and dishwasher. Make your meals extra sociable by sitting around the stylish dining table and chairs. The bedroom is attractively decorated, and two single beds. An extra fold-away single bed is available if needed for a fifth guest. An ensuite bathroom with shower and separate toilet is provided. Fresh towels and bed linen are available for your and your guests for the duration of your stay and wireless internet is accessible throughout the apartment.

     

    There is a tram stop just around the corner taking you to Central Station in minutes making this a perfect location for business travelers needing quick access to the excellent Dutch rail network. Leisure travelers with heavy luggage will also appreciate the convenience.

     

    Please note that this apartment requires an additional cleaning fee of 35 euros.

  • Prinsengracht is one of the major canals that rings the old part of the city of Amsterdam. You will be amazed how quiet and peaceful the area is. Nestled amongst the picturesque 17th century warehouses, townhouses and lovely little bridges that light up and reflect in the water at night - this is quintessential Amsterdam at its prettiest.

     

    Just a gentle stroll along the canal will take you to the Westerkerk area and infamous secret attic home of Anne Frank. The house, now the Anne Frank House Museum is possibly the most popular museum in Amsterdam. Here you can learn about the terrible realities of war-time life in Amsterdam and the history of tolerance in the world. You can also see Anne’s actual diary on display. Get there early to avoid queues.

     

    Follow the canal in the opposite direction from your apartment and you will come to the majestic Amstel River. Look out for the famous Skinny Bridge that features in the classic 1971 James Bond film Diamonds are Forever.

     

    With such a central location most of the city’s major attractions are within walking distance. The excellent tram network is always a quick option if you are too tired to walk back home again!
