Stylishly designed and extremely comfortable, the 2-bedroom Rembrandt Square Apartment D sleeps up to 6 guests in Amsterdam’s most popular entertainment plaza.
Located on the 4th floor and split between two levels, this frankly stunning apartment has been lovingly refurbished with a real eye for design and a stimulating colour scheme of white, black and gold. The extraordinarily spacious living room incorporates many of the original architectural features in its design including the exposed wooden ceiling joists. You will find large windows allowing lots of natural light in to the building as well as wooden flooring throughout. Make yourself at home and relax with your guests on the funky yellow armchair and big comfortable sofa – it also converts easily into a double bed for two of your guests. From here you can enjoy the flat screen TV also provided for your entertainment during your visit. There’s an excellent open plan kitchen where you can prepare meals easily and serve them up at the nearby dining table and chairs. The apartment has a private bathroom that is fitted with a sink, toilet and combined shower and bath. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms fitted with two single beds in one and a double in the other. Both rooms have practical storage furniture for your clothing as well as pleasant restful mood lighting.

The Rembrandt square Apartment D is located in the very heart of action town, the Rembrandt Square itself. This wonderfully vibrant entertainment area is one of the most popular plazas in the city for relaxing with a beer in the sun or for late night partying. In the centre of the square is a huge statue of Rembrandt and a small water feature. Regular events are held in the square every few months converting it into anything from a Christmas market, dance venue or even an ice skating rink on occasion.
For a more calmer atmosphere simply stride a few minutes south to the Herrengracht, one of the four great canals that loop the city known collectively as the Grachtengordel or Canal Belt. Possibly the most beautiful and oldest part of the city, the picturesque narrow streets, long canals, little bridges and 17th century leaning canal and townhouses are absolutely breathtaking. Try to visit at least once at night time when some of the canals are lit up beautifully by little lights under the bridges.
You will find the famous floating Flower Market at the end of the street, just 3 minutes’ walk form the apartment. On your way there you will pass the stunning Tuschinski Cinema, possibly the most beautiful picture house in the world. Stop and admire the amazing gothic-style building architecture and pop inside to see the breathtaking 1930s Art Deco foyer. The ceiling changes colour every 20 seconds!
