The beautifully styled 2-bedroom Rijksmuseum Luxury I holiday apartment is located, as the name suggests, within the close vicinity of the majestic Rijksmuseum and certainly lives up to its luxurious name.
Located on the 1st floor of the building, the apartment is accessed via stairs. Inside you will find a stunningly designed living space for up to 6 guests with high-spec furnishings and fittings as well as wooden flooring throughout. You are encouraged to make yourself feel at home here. Kick off your shoes and relax on the big comfy sofa after long days out exploring the cultural sights the city has to offer. A large flat screen TV is also provided here for your entertainment and it is installed with lots of international channels. There’s an excellent fully fitted kitchen and dining table and chairs to enable you to prepare and eat your own meals and snacks when ever your wish. The apartment has a private bathroom fitted with a shower, sink and toilet. The private bedrooms are simply furnished, encouraging a good night’s sleep. You will find good storage furniture, pretty bed-side lighting and a comfortable double bed in one room and two singles in the other. The living room contains a double sleeping sofa. Please note that this apartment has steep stairs therefore it may not be suitable for elderly guests or families travelling with small children.

The Rijksmuseum Luxury I is located in the centre of the city within the close vicinity of Museum Square. This popular plaza, the cultural hub of Amsterdam, is home to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and the newly refurbish Stedelijk Museum.
A few minutes west lies the delightful Vondelpark, the city’s most popular open green space. A mile long, the park is beautifully landscaped and visited by more than 10 million people every year. Take a leisurely stroll admiring the water features, and thousands of trees as you go. Or alternatively you could hire bicycles and join the hundreds of other cyclists, skateboarders and roller bladders who prefer to enjoy the park at a slightly fast pace. Once you climb aboard a bicycle you will be wondering why you hadn’t done so sooner. It’s fun, relaxing and of course also very healthy. Perhaps you will venture out onto street. Fear not, Amsterdam and most of Holland is designed with the bicycle in mind. Excellent dedicated cycle lanes make it extremely safe to cycle here in comparison with any other European country.
Getting to and from the apartment is extremely easy by public transport since regular trams travel past the front of the Rijksmuseum to Central Station.
