If you are looking for comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people in the centre of the historic city of Amsterdam then look no further than the 2-bedroom Rijksmuseum Luxury II holiday apartment.
This outstanding property offers a truly home from home experience during your short stay in the city. The apartment is designed specifically with your comfort in mind. You will find attractive stylish modern design, contemporary furniture and warm wooden floor boards under foot. When you return to the apartment after a long day out exploring the city you will be rewarded with a big comfy sofa for you to relax on and a flat screen TV with international channels to entertain you. Felling hungry? Head over to the excellent open plan kitchen we have also provided. Here you can rustle up a quick snack or even prepare a full meal. You will find all the equipment you need as well as a dining table to enjoy your meals comfortably together. There are two private bedrooms in the apartment. One is fitted with a double bed whilst the second has two singles. Both rooms have good quality storage furniture and attractive bed-side reading lamps. The living room contains a double sleeping sofa. The apartment has a private bathroom fitted with a shower, sink and toilet. Please note that this apartment has steep stairs therefore it may not be suitable for elderly guests or families travelling with small children.

You will find the Rijksmuseum Luxury II apartment within close vicinity, as the name would suggest, to the Rijksmuseum itself. Packed to the rafters with beautiful artefacts of national and international importance including Rembrandt’s infamous ‘Night watch’, you can spend several hours exploring this incredible building.
The Rijksmuseum is located within the famous Museumplein. This popular plaza, the cultural hub of Amsterdam, is also home to the Van Gogh Museum which houses the largest collection of paintings by Vincent Van Gogh including many of his famous self-portraits. The newly refurbished Stedelijk Museum is also located here and is certainly worth a visit. Here you can mingle with the great artists of the 20th century including pre-war works by Picasso, Cézanne and Matisse post-war creations by Lichtenstein, De Kooning and of course Warhol.
Just across the road from the Rijksmuseum lies Amsterdam’s famous Canal Belt, the four great canals that ring the oldest part of the city. The area is alive with beautiful 17th century architecture and fairytale waterways and bridges. Enjoy a leisurely walk exploring the area at your own pace. You will find traditional Dutch cafes, chic international boutiques, vintage clothes shops, antique stores and unique curiosity shops here. Date: 29-Dec-2012 Rate: 10 Thank you we really enjoyed our stay. Location great although noisy at night/early mornings due to trams but to expected for this position. Excellent facilities in apartment, very comfortable and well-furnished. Staff very helpful and good with on-site check in and information. Also responded very quickly and efficiently to fix a problem with the heating service including checking it was all working the next day. Many thanks and we hope to stay here again. - « go back
