  • The Sarphati Suite 4 Apartment is located in the beautiful leafy Plantage district in the east of the city centre. It’s just a few minute’s walk from the charming Oosterpark.

    Getting in to the centre is easy on foot. Head west from the apartment for two minutes and you will come to the stunning River Amstel. Follow the river into the city arriving at the Waterlooplein in around seven minutes.

    Alternatively halfway up the Amstel you will see the charming Skinny Bridge that features in the classic 1971 James Bond film Diamonds are Forever. Cross over the water to reach the beautiful central Canal Belt, the famous network of fairytale canals that filter out in to the river. Possibly the most beautiful and oldest part of the city, this area’s picturesque narrow streets, long canals, little bridges and 17th century leaning canal and townhouses are absolutely breathtaking. Try to visit at least once at night time when some of the canals are lit up beautifully by little lights under the bridges.

    If you are carrying heavy luggage there’s no need to worry about getting to and from the apartment. Regular trams travel from Sarphatistraat itself right outside your apartment taking you to Central Station in around 6 minutes, depending on traffic.
