    This charming old traditional Amsterdam townhouse has been lovingly renovated to offer you all the home comforts that you are used to at home. In the kitchen downstairs you will find everything you need to prepare your own meals, whilst the living area boasts a large comfortable sofa and chairs for you to relax and with your guests. From here you can also enjoy the flat screen TV provided for your entertainment. The décor is creamy white with wooden floorboards throughout. French windows open wide to reveal a Juliette Balcony. Climb the stars up to the eves of the building to find two beautiful bedrooms. One has to singles side by side to create a double whilst the second has bunk beds for two guests. The apartment has a private bathroom fitted with shower, bath, sink and toilet.


    Located just 5 minutes’ walk from Central Station you cannot imagine a more central and convenient location for your holiday in Amsterdam. Access to the apartment is across a short rooftop bridge which is unusual and actually rather romantic!

  • The apartment sits opposite the majestic Central Station, slightly towards the east. From here you can explore the city on foot easily with most major visitor attractions close by. Perhaps closest is NEMO, the Amsterdam Science Centre. You can see it from the front of the apartment. It rises out of the water like the bow of a ship. It’s become a well loved land mark of Amsterdam. In the summer months you can climb aboard and join local Amsterdammers sunbathing on the roof or ‘deck’. It also has incredible views of the city. Inside you can find out all about the amazing world of science and technology. Information is provided in a fun and interactive way. The museum has a very strict ‘DO touch’ policy for its exhibits!

     

    The apartment is located in the oldest part of Amsterdam, on the edge of New Market, known locally as Nieuwmarkt. On the charming town square regular markets are held every weekend selling everything from collectable books, records, vintage fashion and handicrafts to local farmer’s produce.
