  • The Spiegel Apartment II is located almost directly opposite the majestic Rijksmuseum. With Museum Square, home of the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk modern art museum on your doorstep as well as the vibrant entertainment area the Leidseplein you won’t be short of things to do.

    For a leisurely afternoon head to the nearby Vondelpark and explore the lovely landscaped green open spaces, water features and thousands of trees. This mile-long oasis in the city is visited by over 10 million people every year and certainly one of the biggest jewels in Amsterdam’s glistening crown.

    Since you are already in the city centre getting even ‘more central’ is easy on foot. However if you are carrying heavy luggage you might prefer to take the tram. Make your way to Weteringschans, just two minutes’ walk away where you can jump on any tram taking you to Central Station in around 6 minutes, depending on traffic.

    great location - this apartment was comfortable and a nice place to relax. Its ideal for a family. The surrounding area was very pretty and near to lots of museums and other sights. We found good places to eat too.

    Really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was clean, comfortable and in a brilliant location in the city - very easy to get out and about to visit the city sights.

    Nice place at excellent location for museum-goers.

    The only downside is just one toilet - if you are a group of more than three persons - mornings will be a sort of logistics problem. :)

    I'd definitely choose it again - no matter there is no WiFi hotspot.
