  •  If you are looking for a taste of luxury in the centre of Amsterdam why not come and stay at the Amstel River View apartment, a charming 1-bedroom holiday rental property? Located on the banks of the beautiful Amstel River, you can enjoy fresh air and stunning views from the large windows.


     

    Recently completely renovated, the apartment is inside a typical historic Amsterdam canal-house. Covering 2 floors it measures 50 square metres. You enter the apartment at the upper level where you will find a stylish kitchen where you can easily prepare all your favourite meals. An oven, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and dishwasher are all provided. The living room is beautifully designed with real wood fixtures and exposed wooden ceiling beams. A large sofa is perfect for relaxing and watching the flat screen TV. An IPod docking station is also provided for you to play your favourite music. Take the stylish stairs down and you will find a luxurious bedroom with a king-size-bed and a bathroom with separate toilet. Storage for your clothes and belongings is also provided. Fresh towels and bed linen are provided for the duration of your stay and Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the apartment.

     

    Breakfast can be included for 10 Euros per person. Please request this in advance. Our breakfast includes delicious fresh bread, eggs, crunchy muesli, various fresh fruits, organic ham, Italian sausage, Dutch cheeses, coffee and various blends of tea.

  • Stunningly located on the banks of the River Amstel your apartment overlooks the water with a view of the Skinny Bridge which features famously in the 1971 James Bond film ‘Diamonds are Forever’. You can also see the Blue Bridge, the Rembrandttoren - the tallest building in Amsterdam, as well as a stretch of stunning iconic waterfront townhouses.

     

    You are close to all the major attractions to be found in Amsterdam. The popular Hermitage Museum and beautiful old Carré theatre are just a few steps away. The Waterlooplein market is further up the Amstel where you can buy just about anything. Meanwhile Artis, one of the oldest zoos in Europe, is just a few minutes walk away. With an incredibly successful endangered species breeding programme, why not visit and say hello to the latest new baby animals to be born there.

     

    The atmosphere of the historic old centre of Amsterdam is very charming and you will enjoy exploring the little streets and lanes at night time when the canals are lit up beautifully.

     

    The excellent tram system can transport you to and from Central Station in minutes meaning there is no need to struggle with heavy luggage to and from the airport. The apartment is also only five minutes away from the major highways if you need to cross the city quickly by taxi.
