  • Located almost in Museum Square itself, the outstanding 4-bedroom Wieger Apartment sleeps up to 8 guests in comfort.


    This outstanding holiday rental boasts tall period windows that provide a wonderful street view of the world famous concert hall the Concertgebouw. The lovely light living room is ideal for relaxing together on the comfortable sofas after a long day out sightseeing around the city. A flat screen TV is also provided for your entertainment. Alongside you will find a large dining table and chairs for enjoying mealtimes together or for using a laptop comfortably. Spread out your city maps here whilst you plan the following day’s adventures. The apartment also has a fitted kitchen so you can prepare all your favourite meals from home with ease. You will find all the equipment you need here. The apartment has 4 seperate bedrooms. Two are fitted with double beds whilst the two others have singles. All rooms are beautifully painted in simple colours with unfussy decor to ensure a good night’s sleep and you will find excellent storage furniture and pretty mood lighting. There are two private bathrooms in the apartment with two toilets and sinks as well as a shower and bath. Wooden flooring flows throughout.

  • The Wieger Apartment is located in the very centre in what is known as the cultural hub of Amsterdam. Barely a stone’s throw away is one of the world’s finest conert halls, the Concertgebouw. Originally opened in 1888 the hall’s popularity has grown annually to the point that today it has become the second most-visited concert hall in the world.  Around 900 concerts are played here every year to a public of over 800,000 visitors. It has not always been plain sailing hower. During the 1980s it was discovered that the hall was actually slowly sinking into the ground. Following some serious fund-raising efforts all essential preserveration was successfully completed and the hall was secured above ground for future audiences to enjoy.


    Immediately behind the Concertgebouw is Museum Square which is flanked by the majestic Rijksmuseum at the northern end and the Stedelijk, Diamond Museum and Van Gogh Museum on the western side. It will take you more than a whole day to get round all four museums so be sure to pace yourself.

     

    Travelling in and out of the city centre is extremely easy via tram. You can jump aboard nearby at Willemsparkweg and the journey to Central Station takes around 8 minutes depending on traffic.


    Be sure to explore the beutiful mile-long Vondelpark located just a few minutes’ walk west of the apartment. With its stunning water features and landscaped open spaces it makes the perfect green oasis to escape to from the busy city.

    Brilliant location!!! Tram stop right on the doorstep (number 5 tram to central Amsterdam only 10minutes on tram), supermarket right outside the appartment, and the location is very clean, right outside the Concertgebouw and very nearby the Van Goth museam, brilliant for big groups! very clean inside out! hightly recomended!!! Thanks again!

    We have been in Amsterdam over 20 times and this apartment was absolutely the best we have ever stayed in. Location, next to National Concert Hall and Museumplein, is just perfect and apartment itself exceeded all our expectations. We will definitely come back.

    I have just returned after a short stay in the Weiger Apartment with 7 friends. We had an incredible time. From the start of the booking to checking out I was impressed with the quality of service and organisation. Tom was very friendly and welcoming helping us settle in.     The Wieger Apartment is a great place for groups wishing to walk around central Amsterdam. It was very comfortable, clean and; the location was amazing! I would rent it again in a heartbeat.
