As this apartment is close to one of the most vibrant night-life centers of Amsterdam, there could be an increased level of sound from the surrounding area during the weekends.

You can find the Long Street Apartment situated in the very centre of the city close to the vibrant Leidseplein entertainment area. You will find theatres, casinos, cinemas and live music halls in and around the square. The world famous music and dance venue the Melkweg, also known as the Milky Way, is situated here as well as the extremely funny American/Dutch comedy review bar Boom Chicago, located at the corner. You can purchase dinner and a comedy show together if you wish but you may not wish to sit too near the stage in case the act steals your chips! In the warmer months the plaza is filled with tables and chairs for people to eat outside and it has a buzzing international ambience. There are also delicious international food establishments on the eastern corner of the square. Take your pick from Mexican, Spanish, Turkish and Italian cuisine, to name just a few.
