Accommodating up to 4 guests, this stylish two bedroom apartment occupies an ideal location within Amsterdam’s popular Canal Belt.
Set within a typical canal side house, overlooking the majestic Prinsengracht Canal, this apartment oozes a sense of luxury and sophistication. Enhanced by crisp white walls, exposed ceiling beams and beautiful wooden floors, the apartment boasts a split level design. The living room, furnished with a large L-shaped sofa, a smaller, comfy sofa and a flatscreen television with DVD player, beams with an abundance of natural light, which gracefully flows in through the huge windows. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances that you will need in order to prepare a home cooked meal, which can be enjoyed together at the elegant dining table.
A spiral staircase leads you to the apartment’s upper level where you will find the two bedrooms and bathroom. Both bedrooms are positioned within the slopes of the roof, creating a cosy ambiance in which you can relax and unwind. The first bedroom consists of a welcoming double bed, whilst the second contains two inviting single beds. The modern bathroom, which is fitted with a toilet, sink, bathtub and shower, naturally completes this stylish abode.
Important Information:
Please note that this apartment is located upon the 3rd floor of a building without an elevator and is split over two levels by a steep staircase, therefore it may not be suitable for those with mobility problems.
Conveniently situated within easy reach of a number of shops, cafes and restaurants, this apartment occupies a perfect position along the bank of the picturesque Prinsengracht Canal, which makes up the outer ring of Amsterdam’s famous Canal Belt. The Canal Belt is a series of canals which encase the city centre and are often lined with traditional houseboats and canal cruise boats. Throughout the year the canals regularly host entertaining events such as colourful parades and carnivals.
Just minutes away from the apartment, you will find the Museum Van Loon which is a sight not to be missed. This beautiful house, which is owned by the high profile Van Loon family – known for their links to the Dutch East-India Company, boasts an impressive interior which is decorated with fine paintings and exquisite artefacts. The garden of the Museum Van Loon is simply breath-taking and is often used to host much loved garden parties during the summer.
Also nearby, and definitely worthy of a visit, is the Amstelkerk – a fascinating, wooden church which was built in the 1600s. Originally constructed as a temporary place of worship, the church is now used as a venue for concerts and musical performances.
