Amstel Station is just across the Berlagebrug Bridge which lies adjacent to the apartment. Buses, trams or trains will take you into the centre taking only minutes. Why not walk into town by following the Amstel River north. This really is a lovely walk which takes around 25 minutes. You will pass the charming Magere Brug or Skinny Bridge on the way. This charming little river crossing was made famous in the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever.

Artis Zoo, one of the most popular visitor attractions in the city is just an 8 minute walk away, this excellent zoo is not only one of the oldest zoos in Europe it also boasts one of the most successful animal breeding programmes.
