This 2-bedroom Dapper Market Apartment 13 is on the fourth floor of a 19th century house in the eastern part of Amsterdam and is suited for 4 guests who want to discover Amsterdam.
This modern decorated apartment has a warm feeling to it because the walls are painted in warm colors. The living room has a comfortable sofa to relax on and to watch the latest news on the flat screen television or to watch a film on the DVD player. You can put your laptop on the dining table and look up the places in Amsterdam you want to see the following day.
Next to the living you will find the open kitchen and this kitchen has everything you want. It has a four pit stove, a microwave, a dish washer and even a coffee machine. In the cupboard you will find coffee, sugar and even milk to make a fresh and strong cup of coffee to start the day. Or make some toast for your friends and surprise them with an early breakfast.
The two bedrooms are located on the upper level and both have comfortable double beds. Fresh linen is provided with and this linen is special. It is made of fair trade cotton which means that the farmers in the developing countries are paid a fair or honest price for their products. The clean and fresh bathroom has a sink, a shower and a toilet.
Your apartment is located in a very nice and quiet part of Amsterdam. It is called the Dapperbuurt. Six days per week you can visit the market on the Dapperstraat and experience the real Amsterdam atmosphere. It is like a beehive with shouting merchants who want to sell their goods. If you are a daredevil then go to a fish stand and try a raw herring with onions.
But you would like to see more of Amsterdam so take the tram to the centre part or to Central Station. From the Central Station you can take a ten minute walk to the Dam Square which is the heart of Amsterdam. On this square you will find the Royal Palace and the National Monument which a Second World War monument. The Dam used to be the place where the hippies in the sixties and seventies stayed.
You are also close to the wax museum of Madame Tussaud. Amsterdam has so many interesting museums. The Rijksmuseum is the proud owner of the Night watch, probably the most famous painting of Rembrandt.

Excellent apartment, well furnished and surprisingly large. Located in the Plantage district, parks, museums and the Zoo are all just a short stroll away. The only downside being the soundproofing within the apartment - noises really carry on the top floor ;). I would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to enjoy the delights of Amsterdam whilst staying out of the hustle and bustle of the busy city centre.
