Located on possibly the prettiest canal in the city, the 2-bedroom Prinsengracht Apartment I sleeps up to 4 guests in the beating heart of this most beautiful and vibrant city.

This extremely chic holiday home provides an outstanding level of comfort for you during your short stay. Muted colours, continental furnishings and light wooden flooring create a sense of space whilst also evoking a warm and welcoming ambience. Large windows also allow lots of light to flood into the apartment. In the living area you will find a comfortable sofa from where you can relax with your guests and enjoy the flat-screen TV provided. We also provide you with an excellent fully fitted kitchen with all the equipment needed for preparing your own meals. Make your dinner times extra sociable by sitting around the elegant dining table and chairs. The bedrooms are attractively decorated with god quality storage and pleasant artworks on the walls. One room has a double bed whilst the second two singles. A very stylish black tiled bathroom incorporates a bath, shower, sink and toilet. 

The Prinsengracht Apartment I is located on one of the major canals that ring the oldest part of the city of Amsterdam. You will be amazed how quiet and peaceful the area is. Nestled amongst the picturesque 17th century warehouses, townhouses and lovely little bridges that light up and reflect in the water at night  this has to be quintessential Amsterdam at its prettiest.   

Follow the canal to the east from the apartment and you will come to the majestic Amstel River. Look out for the famous Skinny Bridge that features in the classic 1971 James Bond film Diamonds are Forever. You can follow the river north on foot to reach the city’s most central attractions including the fabulous Waterlooplein flea market.

A gentle stroll along the canal in a northerly or clockwise direction will take you to the Westermarkt area where you will find the infamous secret attic home of Anne Frank. The building, now the Anne Frank House Museum, is the most popular visitor attraction in Amsterdam with over a million visits every year. Here you can learn about the terrible realities of war-time life in Amsterdam and the history of tolerance in the world. You can also see Anne’s actual diary on display. Get there early to avoid queues or book ahead online and choose a specific visiting time.

With such a central location most of the city’s major attractions are within walking distance. The excellent tram network on your doorstep is always a quick option if you are too tired to walk back home again!
