Prinsengracht Studio Apartment Amsterdam

This cosy apartment is an ideal option for couples in search of practical and convenient accommodation in the heart of the Venice of the North.

Forget the idea that a studio is only a studio. Actually, it is a fully-legitimate apartment and what it may lack in size at 20 square metres, it covers with functionality. In addition to this, the stylish finish involving charming wooden floors and lots of brightness overall makes you, simply said, feel good.

Inside the all-in-one living area you will find features like a modern TV-DVD home entertainment centre – should you decide to have a low-key, casual stay in, a comfortable dining table complete with a set of chairs, an open-plan kitchen fully suited for your homelike cooking and a large double bed assisted with a couple of bedside items in a cosy recess.

Despite the concentration of so many objects in one place, the apartment does not become cluttered at all – you’ll be surprised by the sense of space it can actually boast! To complete the whole, there’s also a fresh contemporary bathroom, fitted with toilet, sink and a shower cabin.

Important information

• There are steep stairs in this apartment making it is less suitable for small children, the elderly, or disabled people.

Location

One of the best things to do when you consider a stay in Amsterdam is to choose the marvellous district of the Jordaan; not only is it a place famous for its hospitality, openness, friendliness and bohemian charm, but also a centre of many major cultural events taking place in the Venice of the North. Apart from that, it is a really good neighbourhood to enjoy some fine – and very diverse – cuisine, to check out local coffee shops, to shop at one of the small and charming markets you’ll find around and to visit many various museums, art galleries and take advantage of many other forms of modern and more traditional entertainment.

Starting off with your big neighbour – the great Noorderkerk, in the vicinity you’ll find not only lines of typical traditional red-brick Dutch houses (each offering a shop, a boutique, a café, etc.), but also some more ‘local’ features, like the small but lively Noordermarkt where you can shop for some quality food or other unique items.

Only a walking distance separates you from the eastern-located city centre and all of its excitements, starting from the famous De Wallen, Sexmuseum and Oudekerk, to the magnificent Dam Square or de Waag at Nieuwmarkt, but if you decide to go south at first, following the scenic alleys of the Canal Belt, you’ll soon get to the Amsterdam Tulip Museum, the magnificent Westerkerk, the very special diary museum of Anne Frank House or the 100%-Dutch Houseboat Museum.

Very nice location, The studio itself is very nice, lovely big windows a few meters away from the canal. The place is very clean and we really felt at home. Really nice bars and restaurants within a 3 min radius. We will 100% be back here and will recommend to our friends.

This is a lovely little apartment in a great location, with shops, bars and restaurants at very close proximity. It was a quiet place, we had very little noise from the road or even the bar next door. We felt very much at home here and thought it was a lovely, stylish apartment which suited our few days in Amsterdam very much. Esther was very friendly too and made us feel very welcome.
