Both churches were designed in the 1600s and each offer some truly fine examples of impressive architecture. The Westerkerk’s 85 metre high tower is simply breath-taking and can be viewed from across the city.

Also nearby is one of Amsterdam’s most visited attractions, which draws people in from across the globe. The Anne Frank House Museum is a fascinating museum which allows visitors to explore the harrowing story of Anne Frank and her Jewish family, who concealed themselves within the house’s secret annex whilst hiding from the Nazis during World War II.
