Beautifully furnished and located just a 10 minute walk away from Amsterdam’s old city centre, this delightful 2-bedroom holiday home accommodates up to 6 guests in style.

Located on the 4th floor, the apartment boasts attractive wooden flooring throughout and a restful creamy coloured décor. The comfortable, tasteful furniture, and flat screen TV create a very homely atmosphere. You are sure to feel relaxed during your stay here.

A fantastic fitted kitchen enables you to prepare favourite dishes from back home for your guests. Enjoy them in comfort at the small dining table and chairs alongside.
The private bedrooms are is prettily presented with a double bed in one room and two singles in the second. Meanwhile two remaining guests can sleep back in the living room upon the two comfy sofas.

A private bathroom is also included in the apartment and fitted with a sink, shower and toilet.

Extra information: Because the apartment is situated on the 4th floor and only reachable by fairly steep stairs, it is less suitable for elderly or handicapped people.

This wonderful city pad boasts a prime location in the exceptionally leafy and fresh district of the Plantage whilst also being on the very cusp of the Dapperbuurt. These are both great districts with some excellent attractions and just a 10 minute walk away from the old city centre.

Trams trundle regularly almost right past the apartment and there are two stops you can hop on close by if you want to get to Central Station quickly with heavy luggage.

With nearly 60 museums to explore in the city you can begin your visiting list at the Tropenmuseum which lies amazingly just a minutes’ walk away – just across the road from the apartment. With its incredible collection of non-western artefacts it tells a fascinating historical story woven with a myriad of cultural strands. 

Head along the Plantage Middenlaan to discover the wonderful Hortus Botanicus (horticultural museum) where you can walk amongst giant cacti in the huge hot greenhouses and experience rainforest-like temperatures. This has to the ideal place to visit on a rainy or cold day in the city. Just across the road from here is the city’s iconic Waterlooplein Flea Market. This has to the place to pick up that truly unique souvenir of your stay in the city and there are plenty of unusual photo opportunities to be had. The stall holders can be famously grumpy at times so if you want to take lots of pictures of their stalls it might be wise to ask their permission first. Of course if you buy something from them it’s likely you can take as many pictures as you like!

Make your way to the most northern corner of the market and emerge onto the main road, Sint Antoniebreestraat. To your immediate right and just behind you stands the Rembrandt House Museum, once the home of the great master himself. Inside you can see rooms mocked up to look as it would have in his day and some of his actual paintings and etchings. Directly across the road you will notice an extremely wonky house, Café Sluyswacht. This is the perfect place to stop off for a cool beer or frothy hot chocolate. Enjoy the terrace outside in the warmer months and admire the view of the Montelbaan Tower further along the canal which Rembrandt famously painted many times.
