NDSM apartment 5

NDSM apartment 5 is a spacious, bright and contemporary 2-bedroom apartment for up to four guests in the north of Amsterdam city.

The 90 square meter apartment is situated in a brand-new building on the first floor and is accessible by elevator. Its clever design welcomes you with a hallway with a wardrobe for storage, and gives you access to two spacious bedrooms and the stylish living room. The living area is equipped with a state-of the art interior and boasts an abundance of natural light fall with its large windows on each side. There is a lounge area with a sofa, a few armchairs, a coffee table, a flat screen TV, and a cozy dining area with a large table for those who fancy a homemade meal prepared in the contemporary open plan kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a cooking session just like you would do at home and has a dishwashing machine available for your convenience.

In the two bedrooms you will find both a double bed, carefully chosen to provide you with outstanding comfort. The bathroom has a soothing bathtub, separate shower, hairdryer, and a sink. In the hallway you will also find a separate toilet. All rooms have access to a private balcony. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the whole apartment. This apartment is accessible by wheelchair.

The apartment is located in an upcoming residential area in Amsterdam North that is just a short ride by ferry over the IJ river, offered free of charge by the Amsterdam government, to Central Station, or you can take a bus at bus stop Floraweg, around the corner of the apartment. Amsterdam Noord (literally: North) is more spacious and tranquil than other areas in Amsterdam, yet it is full of fun and interesting things to do. Locals love the area for its lovely views over the Amsterdam waters, cozy cafés, the industrial area that is popular for organized food events and festivals, and off the beaten track bike lanes. Amsterdam Noord is the perfect combination of cultural entertainment and a good atmosphere, mixed with a residential vibe and tranquility.

From the apartment you can enjoy a good walk to many of its interesting sights. One of the popular sights is the Eye Museum, located in a remarkable architectural building and particularly interesting if you are interested in the film industry. Next to the Eye Museum you can enjoy some beautiful views and culinary adventures at the A'Dam Tower. You will find a panorama sky deck with Europe's highest swing, a few restaurants, bar/lounge, and club here. At the former shipping wharf ’'NDSM-terrain'' (which is one of the ferry stops in the area) are some hip and alternative cafés and restaurants like Pllek and Noorderlicht.
