This delightful, bright and comfortable 2-bedroom holiday home makes the ideal base for your stay in Amsterdam and accommodates up to 4 guests.

You are sure to fall in love with the attractively designed contemporary interior which features restful neutral shades and sleek wooden flooring throughout. Make yourselves comfortable on the large sofa in the main living room area and enjoy the flat screen TV also provided here. This is your home for the holidays and we want you to feel completely relaxed.

A fully fitted kitchen provides you with all the equipment to prepare your own meals during your stay. Enjoy your tasty creations at the dining table and chairs also provided for a more comfortable and sociable eating experience.

The private bedrooms feature the same unfussy decorative style, encouraging restful sleep during your stay. You will find a comfortable double bed and two singles as well as lots of storage space for your clothes and belongings. A private bathroom is also included in the apartment and features a sink, shower and toilet.

The apartment is located on the third floor and unfortunately there is no lift therefore it may not be suitable for all guests.

You delightful apartment can be found in the popular and vibrant residential district of de Pijp which lies in the southern section of the city centre. The area is certainly most famous for its fantastic and seemingly endless street market, the Albert Cuypstraat Market. Particularly well represented are textiles, toys, food, souvenirs and clothing it attracts on average some 20,000 visitors every day. Try some Dutch food delicacies when you visit. You are guaranteed to enjoy the delicious poffertjes (warm mini pancakes) or if you prefer savoury foods why not try the prized pickled herring? Pick it up by the tail, tip back your head and chew it down! It’s also delicious served with chopped onions and gherkins in a bread roll for a less messy snack.

The Heineken Experience, one of the most popular museum attractions in the city, is also close by. Detailing all the production stages of the famous Dutch export you will have a chance to see, smell and taste the final product. You can even purchase a bottle with a personal message or your name printed on the label – a perfect souvenir of your visit to Amsterdam!

Be sure to take a gentle stroll in the pretty Sarphatipark which lies just a few minutes’ walk away from the apartment. Prepare a picnic in the warmer summer months and enjoy it under one of the many tall trees here. It is a very popular park with local Amsterdammers whilst most visitors to the city frequent the much bigger Vondelpark, located to the east. Sarphatipark allows you to enjoy a more realistic glimpse of life in the city and its friendly residents.

It’s easy to travel into the city centre since you can hop on any of the regular trams which trundle along the Ceintuurbaan close to your doorstep. You will be whisked to Central Station in around 12 minutes, depending on traffic. Our recommendation however is that you should hire bicycles for the duration of your stay from the many reasonably priced hire shops in the centre. This way you can travel anywhere you like in the city and save lots of money on public transport. It’s also fun as well as safe and super healthy!
