Bright, comfortable and perfectly located, this 2-bedroom apartment makes the ideal base for your stay in Amsterdam and accommodates up to 5 guests.
Holiday in style at our newly refurbished city pad. You are sure to adore the simple, modern and fresh design here. Neutral colours meet stylish laminate flooring through the apartment. You are encouraged to kick off your shoes and get comfy with your fellow guests here on the large sofa. A flat screen TV is also provided to keep everyone entertained. The sofa also sleeps two of your guests at night time.
A fitted kitchen provides you with all the equipment to prepare your own meals during your stay. Enjoy your tasty creations at the dining table and chairs also provided for a more comfortable and sociable eating experience.
Meanwhile the private bedrooms feature the same attractive yet unfussy decorative style, a double bed in one room and two singles in the other. Also included in the apartment is a private bathroom featuring a sink, shower and toilet.
Please note that because the apartment is situated on the 4th floor and there is no lift, it may not be suitable for all guests.
Located in the southern sector of the city centre, the district is known as the Old South. It’s a very vibrant and interesting neighbourhood with lots to see and do close to your doorstep. Just minutes away to the east lies the stunning River Amstel. You can wander north along its banks into the city centre or alternatively hop aboard a tram at nearby Ceintuurbaan. The journey to Central Station takes around 12 minutes, depending on traffic. Many of our guests opt for a more local experience and hire bicycles during their stay. It’s a great way to see the city at a slightly quicker pace and you don’t have to wait around for buses and trams. It’s also extremely cheap, safe and fun!
One of the most popular attractions close by is the fantastic Albert Cuypstraat Market which brings over 20,000 visitors every day to the area. Particularly well represented are textiles, toys, food, souvenirs and clothing, so wander at your leisure along what seems like an endless line of stalls and find that special something. Along the way be sure to try the delicious poffertjes (warm mini pancakes) or if you prefer savoury foods why not try the prized pickled herring? Pick it up by the tail, tip back your head and chew it down! It’s also delicious served with chopped onions and gherkins in a bread roll for a less messy snack.
One of the most popular museum attractions in the city, the Heineken Experience, is also located close by. Detailing all the production stages of the famous Dutch export you will have a chance to see, smell and taste the final product. You can even purchase a bottle with a personal message or your name printed on the label – a perfect souvenir of your visit to Amsterdam!
Bring a home-made picnic along to the pretty Sarphatipark which lies just a few minutes’ walk away from the apartment to the north or head east across the river and visit the lovely Oosterpark.
