RAI Family Apartment Amsterdam

RAI Family Apartment Amsterdam is a stylish and spacious 2-bedroom apartment, suitable for business people or a small family, located in the Old South area in Amsterdam, close to the Olympic Stadium and the city centre.

Walking through the front door you will immediately be impressed with the authenticity of the space. Wooden floors, high ceilings and large windows overlooking the city dominate the space. The living room features a sofa, armchair and television. The kitchen is contemporary and fully equipped with stainless steel appliances making it the ideal place to prepare meals. Appliances include an oven, hob, a grill, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a toaster and a coffee machine. The elegant dining table is perfect for enjoying your home cooked meals.

The apartment features two bedrooms both with double beds. The bathroom is beautifully designed and contains a shower, washbasin and toilet. The apartment also has a lovely balcony providing views out over the city and is the ideal place for that morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Located in the Old South this Amsterdam apartment is ideal for families, couples and business people, seeking traditional accommodation just outside the city centre.

Please note that we don't allow party people.

Location

RAI Family Apartment Amsterdam is located in the south western part of the city centre alongside the Olympic Stadium that was built for the Olympic Games in the summer of 1928. When completed the stadium had a capacity of 31,600. After the event it was used by AFC Ajax until 1996 when the huge Amsterdam Arena was built. It became a fascinating sports museum in 2005 known as the Olympic Experience Amsterdam. Some restaurants in this area we can recommend are Bar Alt, NENI and MaMa Kelly Amsterdam. Getting to and from Central Station is easy since you can hop on a tram at Stationsplein just a few minutes’ walk away. For business people the Zuidas Business District and RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre are nearby.

To the north of the apartment lies the wonderful Vondelpark. This mile long expanse of landscaped gardens and water features is an absolute delight to explore and is by far the most popular city park in Amsterdam. With over 10 million visitors every year you are unlikely to be alone here. However with so much space you can always find somewhere to relax for some quiet solace in the shade of any of the thousands of beautiful trees. Look out for the bright green wild parrots that have adopted the park as their home in recent years. Enjoy a meal or a drink at one of the restaurants in the park. Have a few local beers at the large terrace of 't Blauwe Theehuis (‘the Blue Tea-house’).
