Sleek wooden flooring meets high ceilings and tall windows in this wonderful first floor city pad. You will find a fully fitted kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals for serving up to your guests as well as a handsome dining table and six chairs.

Head over to the main living room area where you will find a huge L-shaped sofa where you can relax together and enjoy the flat screen TV when the city has exhausted you at the end of the day. It also doubles as a bed for two of your guests at night time.

The two private bedrooms are beautifully appointed with restful cream and beige colour schemes. Two singles are pushed together to create doubles and there’s plenty of excellent storage furniture for all your belongings. The apartment also features a private bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and sinks. Why not enjoy a bottle of wine with your fellow guests out on the balcony in the warmer months?

You will find the apartment located in the very centre of the city alongside the eastern district of the Plantage. Just a moment’s walk away to the west is the infamous Waterlooplein Flea market where you can pick up unusual souvenirs and find some wonderful photo opportunities.

The Hortus Botanicus (Amsterdam Botanical Gardens) comes particularly well recommended and a visit here is ideal for when the weather is not so great. Here you can walk amongst giant cacti in rainforest-like temperatures and see cannabis growing wild in the gardens outside.

Explore fantastic international wildlife at the famous Artis zoo. The entrance is just a short walk to the east of the apartment. Here you can see all your animal favourites including a wonderful monkey house and a creepy insect enclosure. An enchanting experience is to visit the butterfly house where the pretty winged insects are happy to eat fruit from the palm of your hand. Artis is one of the oldest zoos in Europe yet it also incorporates some of the most up to date enclosures designed with the zoo’s inhabitants’ comfort in mind.

Central Station is an easy walkable distance away however if you are travelling with lots of heavy luggage then you may prefer to utilise the Waterlooplein metro station (underground).
