A place like this is a perfect option for a group of four. This exciting Amsterdam apartment will allow you to get the best stay possible, in terms of both indoor and outdoor experience.
This fantastic apartment could be best described as a balanced combination of functionality and imagination. The simplicity of layout adds to the overall aesthetics, while the occasional tints of vibrant colors make the place truly exciting to stay in.
The stylish daily room greets the guests with a big sofa, a classy coffee table, a TV set for some home entertainment and an open fireplace to make the interiors more cosy. Behind the sofa you will find the dining area, supplied with a round dining table and a set of matching chairs, as well as a richly-equipped open-plan kitchenette that is bound to surprise you with the amount of amenities and the extent of cooking possibilities it offers.
Moving on to the ‘night’ section, the apartment comes with as many as two separate bedrooms. The master bedroom features a huge double bed, a pair of bedside items, a small study and a capacious wardrobe, where you can keep all of your belongings. The smaller bedroom offers two single beds, but is just as comfortable as the larger one.
The apartment is complete with a very modern, plain-styled bathroom fitted with a sink, toilet, shower and a bathtub, but the best feature is most surely the balcony, which is the place to finish your day of sightseeing with that late evening glass of wine.
Staying in the fabulous district of the Jordaan is an experience hard to compare to anything. Once a district for the working class and immigrants, the neighborhood has gradually transformed into a paradise for visitors and a tourist-friendly maze of charming small alleys lined with cafés, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, art galleries and other intriguing and welcoming places. And all of that within walking distance from the very city centre and all of its highlights like Oude Kerk, De Wallen or the Dam Square.
The Jordaan is also a place where you can gain some deeper insight into the rich past of Amsterdam. For instance, if you head south, passing the landmark spire of Noorderkerk, after a 5-10-minute walk you should reach the Anne Frank House, where you can learn of the fate of this world-famous Jewish diarist. As a contrast to all the historic qualities of the neighborhood, the nearby Electric Ladyland comes with a fascinating collection of fluorescent art – you should make it an obligatory item on your travel agenda. Also nearby is the amazing Houseboat Museum – the name speaks for itself, and if you’re after some more modern diversion, you should set your compass to Leidseplein lined with clubs and bars, where you can paint the town red until the break of dawn.
