Located on the very top floor of a charming canal side apartment building, your holiday home promises an absolutely delightful holiday experience. The creamy white walls and exposed authentic wooden ceiling beams create an extremely romantic feel. Wooden floorboards are covered by a traditional old rug to make the room more cosy and you will find no less than five windows that allow lots of natural light and views of the canal below. There’s a big comfy sofa for reclining on after long days out exploring the city together. A flat screen TV is also provided here to keep you entertained. There’s also a dining table and chairs enabling you to eat meals comfortably together. Alongside you will find a delightful little kitchen area where you can rustle up tasty snacks or perhaps a perfectly private romantic meal for two.

A beautiful bedroom area is fitted with a double bed as well as bedside lamps and there’s somewhere to put all your clothes and travel belongings. The apartment also features a private bathroom with a sink, shower and toilet.

If you prefer art and culture then the magnificent Rijksmuseum stands to the immediate south, just 10 minutes’ walk away. The museum houses an incredible collection of opulent treasures of not just local but also international significance. Meanwhile you will also find the Van Gogh Museum, Diamond Museum and Stedelijk Museum clustered around Museum Square. The latter venue hosts a fantastic collection of some of the world’s most impressive 20th century art.

After all that culture you might want to clear your head in the wonderful Vondelpark which is located between the Museumplein and the apartment. It measures an incredible one mile long and hosts in excess of 10 million visitors every year. Why not prepare a picnic at the apartment and bring it along or hire bicycles and join the many other cyclists, roller bladers, joggers and dog walkers who enjoy the park daily. Look out for the unusual wildlife here including a family of storks, some surprisingly big fish and hundreds of wild green parrots.
