The living room, which is furnished with a comfy sofa bed, a coffee table, a chair and a flatscreen television, is enhanced by crisp, white walls and large, authentic windows. Conveniently situated within close proximity to a superb selection of cafes, restaurants and shops, this apartment is perfectly positioned within the green and leafy Plantage district of Amsterdam – an area much loved for its calm and peaceful atmosphere. The neighbourhood is also brimming with a wide array of must see sights and attractions, all of which are just a short walk away from the apartment.

One such attraction, which can be found close by, is the magnificent Oosterpark – a large public park which boasts some truly stunning scenery. Designed in the late 1800s by the Dutch landscape architect Leonard Anthony Springer, this picturesque park exhibits an ‘English Garden’ design and offers the model setting for a relaxing picnic upon a sunny afternoon away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets.

Also nearby are the city’s fantastic Botanical Gardens, which are a sight certainly not to be missed. Dating back to the 1600s, the gardens are bursting with a huge collection of over 6000 species of plants.
