Bloemstraat Apartment Amsterdam

Oozing a sense of style and sophistication, this apartment offers a welcome retreat within a sought after area of the city, one which is just minutes away from a superb collection of must see sights and attractions. Split over two levels, the apartment is enhanced by fashionable furnishings, crisp, white walls and an abundance of natural light.

The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you will need in order to prepare a home cooked meal, which can be enjoyed together with your companions at the attractive dining table.

The two bright and airy bedrooms, which each contain a luxurious double bed, are highlighted by beautifully exposed wooden ceiling beams, which add a touch of charm and character to the apartment. Completing this chic and stylish abode is the elegantly designed bathroom, which is fitted with a toilet, sink and shower enclosure.

Location

Ideally located within close proximity to Amsterdam’s vibrant and energetic city centre, this apartment is perfectly positioned within the city’s chic and sought after Jordaan district – an area renowned for its charming cafes, exquisite boutiques and fine dining establishments. The neighbourhood was originally created in the early 1600s to house the ever increasing working class population of the city, but soon became poor, overcrowded and run down. It wasn’t until the 1970s that the Jordaan underwent an impressive facelift, transforming it into the stylish, fashionable district that it is today.

The Jordaan is also much-loved for its impressive collection of must see sights and landmarks, including one of Amsterdam’s top tourist attractions – the fascinating Anne Frank House Museum, which can be found just a short walk away from the apartment. This typical, canal side house is where Anne Frank wrote her legendary diary whilst she and her Jewish family hid from the Nazis during the Second World War. Another well-known landmark can also be found just a few minutes away from the apartment – the striking Westerkerk (West Church), which boasts some truly exceptional architecture, together with an enormous 85 metre high tower.
