Occupying a prime position within Amsterdam’s central Canal Belt, this contemporary three bedroom apartment provides lodgings for up to 4 guests.
Exuding a sense of style and sophistication, this apartment offers a welcome retreat in which to relax and unwind following an action packed day of sightseeing and entertainment. Set out over two levels, the apartment effortlessly combines traditional features with modern day furnishings, resulting in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The living room, which consists of a comfy sofa, two chic armchairs, a coffee table and a flatscreen television with DVD player, is enhanced by crisp, white walls and exposed ceiling beams. The elegantly designed kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances that you will need in order to prepare a home cooked meal, which can be enjoyed together at the attractive dining table.
A quirky, spiral staircase leads you to the apartment’s upper level, which is where you will find the three calm and tranquil bedrooms. With four single beds and a double bed between them, the bedrooms ensure that everyone has a peaceful haven in which to rest. Completing this contemporary abode is the bright and fresh bathroom, which is fitted with a toilet, sink, bathtub and shower.
Important Information:
Please note that there is no door on one of the bedrooms with single beds, making privacy limited. The apartment also features a spiral staircase, therefore it may be less suitable for those with mobility problems.
Ideally located just minutes away from a superb selection of shops, cafés and restaurants, this apartment is perfectly positioned at the very heart of Amsterdam’s popular Canal Belt – a network of canals which encase the city centre. The canals are often bustling with activity and regularly host colourful carnivals and floating parades, which take place throughout the year. Literally across the street is the city’s famous Flower Market, which is a sight certainly not to be missed. Set upon several authentic houseboats, the market is the only floating flower market in the world and sells a fabulous array of bulbs and flowers.
Just a short walk away from the apartment is Amsterdam’s vibrant city centre, which offers a fantastic collection of must see sights and attractions, including the iconic Dam Square which is the home of the magnificent, 17th century Royal Palace and the striking New Church. En route to Dam Square is the charming Begijnhof, which is definitely worthy of a visit. This quiet and peaceful 14th century courtyard was originally designed as a sanctuary for the city’s single, Catholic women and is still inhabited to this day. The Begijnhof is also where you will find Amsterdam’s oldest remaining, traditional wooden house.
