Our beautiful 1-bedroom Amsterdam apartment makes the ideal base for up to four people visiting this truly vibrant city.
The interior of the apartment boasts a welcoming ambience with attractive furnishings throughout. The decor is bright and creamy white whilst the floors are warm wood creating a real sense of space.
Kick off your shoes and make yourselves comfy in the main living room area upon the two lovely big sofas. A flat screen TV is also provided here to keep everyone entertained during your stay. Visiting the many exciting sights of Amsterdam can of course be quite tiring so you will want to rest occasionally.
A handsome table and chairs enables you sit together and enjoy mealtimes in comfort whilst an excellent fitted kitchen possesses everything you need to prepare your meals during your stay.
The private bedrooms feature restful décor with attractive art works on the walls. Each room is fitted with a double bed and excellent storage for all your travel belongings. Also included in the apartment is a private bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, sink and toilet.
The apartment is located outside of the city’s central ring to the south. It takes its name from the beautiful Amstel River which is located just to the west of the apartment. Indeed Amstel train and metro station is only a short walk away allowing you quick and easy access to the city and Central Station itself. Many of our guests opt to hire bicycles for the duration of their stay as it is a simple, cost effective and immediate way to see the city. A bike ride to the city centre is extremely easy and of course lots of fun too.
The apartment sits at the western corner of the beautiful Frankendael Park. This is Amsterdam’s only surviving 17th century country estate and boasts two beautiful historical gardens. One is a landscaped garden whilst the second is a period affair. At the centre of the park sits Frankendael House, home to several cultural events that take place throughout the year. Arguably more popular is the stylish Dutch restaurant De Kas which resembles a greenhouse and receives rave reviews from its regularly returning patrons. There are a handful of other city parks to explore as you head north towards the old city centre. Take your pick from the Sarphatipark, Oosterpark and the incredibly popular Vondelpark.
Visitors and business travellers attending conferences at the RAI Exhibition Centre will be pleased to know it is only a short distance away to the west.

Myself and three friends hired the Amstel Rivet apartment for a long weekend. Our host Nicholas was very friendly and very helpful throughout the stay.
